Usovoli Cinema
About Us
Usovoli Cinema is not just a company that produces cinema as the name says. First, the word “Usovoli” means innovator in Umbundu, one of Angola's national languages.
The word “Cinema” is in the name of our company because the bases of our activity, in any project, are the principles of the seventh art, which always come first. Whether we shoot a video clip, an advertisement, a documentary or a series, we always put the foundations of cinema first. Everything we learned was in movie theaters, how to compose a plan, how to light a scene, how to direct actors or people.
And as we said before, “Usovoli”, a word from the traditional languages of Angola, presupposes that we always put Africanism first. And, as we are a young team, we show Africanism in a modern perspective. In this sense, our company philosophy is that we always try to innovate, be proudly African and create cinematic works.
Contact us to turn your next project into something innovative and proudly African, and to make not just a video but a movie!
